This 4-disc set is a must-own for SpongeBob SquarePants fans. Episodes from the first season are all here in SpongeBob Sqaurepants: The Complete 1st Season, as well as wonderful featurettes. This DVD set features the "misadventures" of the naive and zany sea sponge, his best friend Patrick, a goofy starfish, his thrill-seeking squirrel pal Sandy Cheeks, and the rest of the cast. This set includes all 40 episodes on 3 discs, along with 90 minutes of bonus features (including music videos, a tour of Bikini Bottom, karaoke, and more).

Kid testers (and adults alike!) love the "Everybody's Talking" featurette that reveals the voices behind the characters. This segment is hilarious! There's also a Bikini Bottoms Up Tour, three music videos, cast commentary, discussions of the origin of SpongeBob, and more. This collection is fantastic, and although many families can watch the Nickelodeon cartoon on television, owning this complete first season set is satisfying for most fans.
