Kids and adults of all ages will enjoy this story about a group of cows who discover an old typewriter, giving them a voice. The cows type a letter with a polite request for electric blankets (the barn is too cold) much to the shock and chagrin of the farmer. What ensues is a cow strike--they simply won't deliver milk if they don't get a blanket--and negotiations, delivered back and forth by the "neutral party", the ducks. There's a delightful surprise ending to the story that people of all ages will enjoy and plenty of fun goings-on in between. This is a fantastic book you'll want to read again and again.
