My Little Pony: A Very Minty Christmas is the first DVD premiere
for the My Little Pony series, and it's fantastic. Young My Little
Pony fans will thoroughly enjoy the engaging story line of the
feature episode, the gorgeous graphics, and the musicals. Parents
will find the content entirely age-appropriate, warm, and positive.
There are no "bad guys" or over-stimulating scenes in the
            movie--only socially conscious, positive messages.

The story revolves around Minty, a little pony who is as
well-meaning as she is clumsy. She accidentally breaks the "Here
Comes Christmas Candy Cane"--a special candy cane that is a
Ponyville Christmas tradition. The glittering candy cane is
ceremoniously placed on top of the tallest Christmas tree in the
village every year, and it's designed to attract Santa to Ponyville.
As such, Minty fears that Santa won't pay her home town a visit, and
that she has ruined Christmas for her friends. After considering
playing Santa herself, she scraps her plans and instead embarks on a
            bigger adventure--to the North Pole.

The DVD edition includes two bonus sing-alongs (see picture below) and a bonus episode,
entitled Dancing in the Clouds. The
feature movie runs for approximately 66 minutes.
              Social Skills/Messages:
This DVD promotes friendliness and forgiveness. There are no "bad
guys" or over-stimulating scenes in the movie--only socially
conscious, positive messages. Best For: Ages 2-6. Our Rating:
